The Cathedral of Cefalù (Italian: Duomo di Cefalù) is a Roman Catholic basilica in Cefalù, Sicily. It is one of nine structures included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as Arab-Norman Palermo and the Cathedral Churches of Cefalù and Monreale.
The cathedral was erected between 1131 and 1240 in the Norman architectural style, the island of Sicily having been conquered by the Normans in 1091.[1] According to tradition, the building was erected after a vow made to the Holy Saviour by the King of Sicily, Roger II, after he escaped from a storm to land on the city's beach. The building has a fortress-like character and, seen from a distance, it dominates the skyline of the surrounding medieval town. It made a powerful statement of the Norman presence.

Hybrid livery, basic Swiftair (Spain) livery with West Atlantic titles. Left side.
First flown in Jan-95 with the ATR test registration F-WWEA, this aircraft was delivered to Eurowings (Germany) as D-AEWK in Apr-95. It was sold to a lessor in Jul-95 and leased back to Eurowings. The aircraft operated Eurowings last ATR.72 service in Dec-05 and was stored at Nuremburg, Germany.
It was repainted in basic Swiftair (Spain) livery in Mar-06 and returned to the lessor at the end of the month. In Apr-06 the aircraft was leased to Swiftair as EC-JRP. It was wet-leased to Maya Island Air between Jun/Sep-09. It was wet-leased to the United Nations in Feb-10 in all white livery, based at Wau, Sudan and operating around the Horn of Africa with the UN World Food Programme. It returned to Swiftair in Mar-13.
The aircraft was wet-leased to Air Europa Express in May-13 operating inter-island services in the Balearics. It returned to Swiftair in Aug-14 and was immediately leased to the United Nations again, in the Horn of Africa.
It returned to Swiftair in Jan-16 and was converted to a full freighter a couple of months later. The aircraft was leased to West Atlantic Ltd (UK) as G-CLXT in Jun-21. It was returned to Swiftair as EC-JRT in Jan-25. Current, updated 23-Jan-25.

First flown with the Airbus test registration D-AVWG, this aircraft was delivered to Germanwings as D-AGWZ in Feb-14. Technically, the aircraft was 'wet leased' to Eurowings at midnight on 28-Oct-17 (co-incidentally the same evening Air Berlin ceased operations).
The reality is that Germanwings was merged into Eurowings and all aircraft will eventually be repainted in Eurowings livery with crew still employed by Germanwings but in Eurowings uniforms.
On 07-Apr-20, just after the COVID-19 Pandemic started, the Lufthansa Group closed Germanwings down with all aircraft leases and crew transferred to Eurowings. In late Jan-25 the aircraft is due for transfer to Eurowings Europe Malta as 9H-EXZ. Current, updated 23-Jan-25.
