Exploring a "new to us" area of the Smokies--- Big Creek area. Nice easy hike past Midnight Hole and on to Mouse Creek Falls. Nice flow even though it has been relatively dry here lately. North Carolina side of the park.
As you can see with the foreground greenery, the rhododendron is not quite yet in bloom..... by next month, for sure
