What a wonderful experience--- to have the opportunity to walk through woodlands containing wildlife in their natural habitat, This small herd of giraffes watched us curiously, but were not alarmed by our presence.
This section of Aberdare National Park in Kenya afforded us the luxury of walking due to its fenced perimeters that contained no big cats or predators.
This is a Reticulated Giraffe, also known as the Somali Giraffe, one of 3 sub species we discovered on our African journey. They are found only north of the equator.
