Trolleybuses - or O-Bahnen - do not play a major role in German urban transport systems, but one place where they can be found is Esslingen, near Stuttgart. In this August 2005 scene, a Van Hool articulated Ed trolleybus meets a Mercedes Citaro diesel bus.

The expression used by my old colleague John came to mind when I recorded this surreal scene in Brussels. John’s beloved term was equivalent to “I believe you - thousands wouldn’t...” Often used when I’d submit my expense claims for his scrutiny.
