We had an adventure weekend with our grandson last weekend, taking him to Llechwedd Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog to have a go at Bounce Below and the Titan Zip wire. I say "we" - but I just went along for the ride! I remember going on the Victorian mine tour at the slate caverns many years ago, to see the mines and hear about the history and life of the slate miners. The old slate mines have now expanded their tourist offerings to cater for the more adventurous. Bounce Below consists of bouncy netting trampolines, slides and tunnels, suspended in one of the slate caverns. The Titan zip wire is a series of 3 zip lines, each with 4 parallel wires travelling a total of 2,000m from the hillside above.

More shots below. Unfortunately I didn't manage to capture my hubby and grandson in mid-air - the total zip wire experience took about 90 minutes and it was hard to work out when they would be descending.

Our 2 year old grandson, is fascinated with diggers, "nee-naws" and the like and loved looking at these (Lego look-alike) models at Gullivers theme park. The shot was taken through the 2 panes of the glass cabinet - he was too interested in the models to pose for me! It's a bit of an unusual shot - but I quite liked how it turned out.

Some more normal looking shots in the comment below. He is what has kept me away from flickr over the last few days - I'll attempt to catch up with everyone as soon as I can.

I seem to be rather short on time, just at the moment. Much of my spare time has been taken up with my grandsons, leaving me little time to catch up on processing my photos or flickr. Short of aquiring my own TARDIS, I may be missing some more, over the next few weeks but will try to catch up with my flickr firends, when I can.

These shots were taken last weekend at the Dr Who Experience in Cardiff. It's great for Dr Who fans - but parts proved a little too scary for some. Perhaps it's best to watch Dr Who from behind the sofa! More shots of some previous TARDIS consoles in the comment below.

Back home after a lovely family holiday on Anglesey. The weather here wasn't quite as warm as it looks but didn't stop us from having a great time on the beach. This is my son-in-law and younger grandson, having fun!

I'm way behind on flickr and have lots of holiday photos to process. Will try to catch up with everyone as soon as I can.
