Brilliant corona curtains over the roof of my house. On the bottom center of the photo you can see the anemometer (measures wind direction and velocity) mast of my weather station.

12,010 ft. Mt Drum sports a very large pileus cap cloud, which it so often does, altering the weather in it's environs.
Here, we are looking eastward toward Canada, from the Glenn Highway between Anchorage and Glennallen Alaska.
It's a good day when you can get a full view of this magnificent statovolcano.

Un-retouched photo, with very unusual colors and brightness. I don't know what caused a glow like this. There is no human habitation in that area, no possible light pollution from below. All natural colors that astounded me.
