An old wooden one-lane bridge, a real landmark on the Denali Highway, the bridge over the big Susitna River is 1039 feet of clackety-clack wood structure.

This beauty from the past is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Our wide load about to cross the long (1,039 foot) one lane wooden bridge over the Susitna River on the sparsely traveled Denali Highway, the road that was originally the only road to the Denali Wilderness area.

I don't know this mountain's moniker, I call it 'Linda's Mountain' because it is the view from the Mentasta Lodge and Linda used to own the lodge.

Still waters of Slana Slough, Mentasta Mountains on the Tok Cutoff Road.
