Bisecting this overhead view is the Tok Cutoff Road, which meets the Alaska Highway horizontally at 'Tok Junction', upper center of this view.
The open area near the center is the Dept of Transportation and Dept of Forestry. To the far right of that, the turquoise roof is the Tok School.
Across the far horizon you can see the burn scar from the 2002 Taylor Complex wildfire, which burned more than 2,000,000 acres in my Tok District, more than 6,000,000 in the state of Alaska in one wildfire season.

Brilliant autumn colors of the popple trees in the backyard, like explosions of color. Daylight almost gone in the evening.
Drone photography opens a whole 'nother view of the world above us. It's got me looking forward to the possible overhead views in winter....

Taken with a MavicPro DJI drone at... about 300 feet elevation (guessing), up the crick about a half mile from the bridge on the Alaska Highway. I love how we can see the 'overflow' channel the crick takes when it floods, also we can see so far up toward the canyon headwaters.
One day, we have to go farther....
