Tallest bridge in Minnesota, connecting the towns of Virginia and Eveleth, the new bridge over the Rouchleau Mine pit was just completed this past September. At 1132 feet in length and rising 204 feet above water-filled abandoned Rouchleau Mine in northern Minnesota's Iron Range, it is the highest bridge in all of Minnesota.

The bridge is four lanes, and includes a utility corridor and walk - bicycle path, as well as (of course, this is Minnesota) accommodating snow mobile traffic in winter.
