Magnificent strong mirage looking down the road, a massive uphill rise the road where none exists.
We get this kind of mirage often in winter with temperature inversions, when a layer of dense, cold air is trapped against the ground by a warmer layer aloft.
This one is particularly pronounced, the inversion is very strong. I have never seen the mirage 'hill' as lofty as this.

One of those things that's kind of fun and interesting to do, when it's -40 or colder outdoors.
Tossing hot water into the air hisses and pops, as the hot water turns to steam in the very cold air, then instantly freezes.
