Sunrise in Fairbanks AK, around 11:30 am.

Don't blink, it will slide sideways for what seems like only a moment, before disappearing.

The distance on the southern horizon between sunrise and sunset is very short, as is the length of day. Three hours 42 minutes day length, and getting shorter.

Ethereal denizens of the deep cold, these minute collections of moisture trapped between sealed panes of glass in my patio door are growing, with the increasing cold.
