This was the most cloud I saw during the four beautifully blue days I spent in Connemara recently. So much for dark brooding skies and moors! Not complaining of course... it's a beautiful place whatever the weather I suspect

Early morning in the west of Ireland. This lovely bay is just one of many excellent mountain viewpoints from the Sky Road in Connemara in Ireland. The Sky Road forms part of the Wild Atlantic Way, the long distance route that follows much of the Irish coastline. This is near the village of Letterfrack.
