It had been foggy and dank all day at this remote spot right on the coast of the Isle of Coll in the Hebrides, but as darkness fell, Breachacha Castle - actually a 15th-century tower house and a stronghold of the Macleans of Coll - took on a particularly austere and forbidding aspect. A storybook castle in a grim sort of way! Or should that be Grimm??
