The ruined barn at Roach End in the Peak District National Park - near Leek - isn't easy to get to but it makes a good subject for photography all year round. And especially so when the weather is as changeable as it was that day.

A sudden break in the clouds allowed a burst of sunlight through on an otherwise dark and very unsettled day at the Roaches in Staffordshire. Days of rain meant that Tittesworth reservoir was already full to the brim.
