In fact this is a view from the east coast... but its the east coast of Skye, looking across the Sound of Raasay. So still very much the west of the UK. Where the great light is... sometimes. There were heavy clouds from early morning on and they lasted all day, but the bursts of brightness were worth waiting for!

It was my third visit to Sligachan in the Isle of Skye in 2 weeks, but at last the cloud had finally lifted a bit, revealing the Cuillin mountains in at least some of their glory
