For today's dailyshoot assignment: "Make a photograph from a high point of view." A robin has placed her nest atop the ivy on the side of our house, just below the eaves.

One more shot for context to accompany my earlier Robin's nest shot. This shows Mama-to-be in the nest, which is right next to a pair a patio lights. We are not using these lights during Ms Robin's stay with us. It's been a week now since we discovered the nest. I wonder when the eggs will hatch.

Mama Robin is still keeping a close watch when we're in the back yard. We're waiting for her three eggs to hatch.

Here's a shot taken a few days ago of the three baby robins in the nest under the eaves of our house. These little guys were hatched just over a week ago, and according to what I have read, can be expected to leave the nest about two weeks after hatching.
