These park and ride Solo SRs were delivered to Preston bus in their final year of operation. The bus war with Stagecoach was in full swing by this time and Stagecoach bought Preston Bus at the start of 2009.

Arriva Merseyside's 2900 / CX58EWO, a VDL SB200 Pulsar, turns on to Whitechapel on a Warrington service.

This bus appears to have lasted on Merseyside until January 2024 and is, at the time of posting, still going strong as 1428 in the Arriva Yorkshire fleet.

Preston Bus Solo SR turns on to London Road from Grove Road (the bus exit from the Walton le Dale park and ride site) heading back to Preston. It seems to have been withdrawn in early 2024.
