En route from Bushbury to Oxley sidings, 40162 runs light along the Stour Valley line towards Wolverhampton North Junction on 28th November 1982. A blockade was in force at Wolverhampton station necessitating empty stock movements from Oxley sidings to Bushbury entailing reversals at Cannock Road Junction.
Just a week later 40162 was reported as stored serviceable at Haymarket but it was condemned on 14/12/82. It remained there until 25/06/85 when it was moved to Millerhill Yard for scrapping. [Ref. Class 40 Motherlist]

The Bricklayer's Arms at 32 Waterman Street, Putney dates from 1826 and has been identified by CAMRA as having a nationally important historic pub interior. This cosy, family-owned, community local reopened in 2005 after some time in purely domestic use by the local hero whose purchase previously saved it from redevelopment. For a time it was the only pub in London to serve the full range of Timothy Taylor beers, with several locally brewed ales, often Twickenham, also rotating, and for several years it ran regional beer festivals and won local CAMRA and other awards. The external appearance has been substantially changed since the pandemic lockdown when the pub was temporarily closed and the opportunity was taken for extensive refurbishment. It is popular with fans of Fulham FC.
