BR Sulzer Type 4 No. D45 leaves the original Brunel part of Bristol Temple Meads with the Sunday 6.50pm train for Leicester London Road on 19th April 1964.

The original terminus at Temple Meads was built in 1839–41 for the Great Western Railway and was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It was closed in September 1965 and now functions as an events venue.

D45 was built at Derby Works and delivered to Cricklewood depot in September 1961. At the time of this photograph it was based at Derby. It was renumbered as 45036 in May 1975 and withdrawn from service at Tinsley in May 1986.
