This venerable Leyland Tiger and long time member of the preservation scene was new to the small Lancashire municipal in 09/1949. It is seen here nearly seventy five years later when turning from Main Street, Brough, onto B6276 New Road, on the first day of two of the annual Cumbria Easter Rally, it is heading out on the Saturday Road Run with a good load of passengers. Just seen behind is a Leyland Tiger from a different era. It is the nicely preserved Merseyside PTE, 7020, EKA220Y, a Duple Dominant IV Express bodied Leyland Tiger TRCTL11/2R. © Peter Steel 2024.
