Shortly before my visit to nearby Dundee in 2019 the Bell Rock Tavern closed. Shortly after my visit, it reopened as an Indian Restaurant. It continued to advertise itself as an Indian Restaurant in a pub.
We walked in the ground floor and found ourselves in a friendly, typical local.
"What's all this about an Indian Restaurant", we asked. Everybody pointed to the stairs.
Upstairs we found a typical friendly Indian restaurant with its own step-free access of a side road (it's built on the side of a hill).
There were some benches on a veranda up there - excellent views over the harbour in the warm summer sun.
Two ventures in one building - well worth a visit!

Confusingly, officially, it is called the "Blair Athol" Distillery even though Blair Athol is 8 or so miles further north. This is "Bell's" Distillery, Pitlochry, Scotland.
I'd visited it in 2019, Mrs yateleyart never made it till this year.
She paused for a picture at the entrance and eight American tourists joined in to record the event. (Mrs y is 2nd from right.
