UPDATE!
I've been tooling around with my older pics, adding descriptions and fixing Donna's mole and the like, when I came upon this old poster and decided that it wasn't really very well done. Much improved now, I think.

A Clockwork Orange (1971) is one of my ten or so favorite movies, directed by Stanley Kubrick and starring Malcolm McDowell as Alex, a young gang leader in the future (at the time) world of c. 2005. Despite its being such a good film, it is one of the rare movies in Kubrick's oeuvre that may not surpass the book by Anthony Burgess.

Here is the original poster: Flickr: Explore!

And now, the trailer, my droogies: youtu.be/SPRzm8ibDQ8

A shot from Life magazine, from an article about the release of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), the greatest film ever made. Dave Bowman (Keir Dullea), wearing his space suit, looks into the bridge. Not a scene from the movie, this must have been posed for the photo shoot. Here's the original: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/db/d4/b9/dbd4b961f1129d...

The August, 1928 cover of Amazing Stories, painted by Frank R. Paul. Despite popular misconception, this does not picture Buck Rogers, although this issue includes the first published “Buck Rogers” story. Instead, the cover illustrates “The Skylark of Space”, written by E.E. 'Doc' Smith.

I always hated the original I did of this pic - and now I've trashed it. (I think it was my first Star Trek picture.) My new version is a much better original, and I think I've improved my skills a bit in the last 6 years, too. Perfect? Hardly. But much better. Also, I kinda prefer the uniforms from the pilots, and that's what we have here. You'll also notice (should you check the original) that I have my face shaded incorrectly - maybe I'll fix it in another decade or so!

Seems to have been some sort of promotional photo of Kirk in the transporter room; out of some magazine, no doubt published in 1966. Here's the original: i.pinimg.com/736x/44/4a/c7/444ac7fde95f4ec3ca485aca422bd8...

Me as Dr. Charles Cargraves (Warner Anderson) alongside Jim Barnes (John Archer) from the wonderful sci-fi film, Destination Moon (1950). Not bad, considering it was made nearly two decades before the real moon landings began!

This is one of my older pics, so I can't find the exact movie still that I used, but here's a smaller version of the same: Flickr: Explore!
