Lou takes advantage of the Highsider parked on the mainline under a Larch tree.
Tyke and Rocky take advantage of Lou's generousity in lowering an otherwise out of reach branch.

Palmy Yard Derailment; I have long since forgotten the date and train number; I think prior to 1986.
Apparently the usual suspect(worn points) threw under the incoming train and this was the result.
Good look at the drawgear on the KS 4-wheelers; I was surprised the side-chains kept up doing their job.

My version of the Bisbee car; a bit on the bright side for here, but fills a need to letter at least one car in the manner of my friends 24" & 18" gauge railroad cars.
Hand painted lettering on one side for my friend's line in Colorado and on the other, for my friend's line in Oregon.
Oddly, the lid has warped in exactly the same position as the Bisbee car did.
This will be used to haul a good load of firewood next winter right to the back door, and last at least half a week.
A close cousin of the Powdercar used at Bisbee in the Copper Queen.
This frame differs from previous construction here; the first to feature a longitudinal tension rod and endbeams appropriately tenoned and morticed in the grand tradition.
Douglas Graeme has a great photo of the Bisbee car.

My version is proportioned to my smaller 9.5" wheels vs the 12" shown.
