My version of the rocket droid "jetpack" - a lot closer to reference, in my opinion. You can even orientate the rockets in any position you want.

Now let's get to some (more) serious stuff. So here's my custom Bantha-II cargo skiff.
I guess by now everybody noticed I mostly "dig" the original Star Wars trilogy. But even more, I'm a huge fan of the early Star Wars Lego sets, like the Lego 7104 Desert Skiff from 2000. I can't really explain it, but there was something fresh, crisp and synthetic about those sets, the quality of parts was amazing, the colors fit all nice together, I would even go that far as to say they were almost perfect.
This is my tribute to the Lego 7104 Desert Skiff set, a Bantha-II cargo skiff built exclusively in old brown / old grays / tan color scheme. I like the 7104 set so much, that I even bought all the similar parts all over again, one by one, just to keep the original intact. And this was painful, my friends...
The highlight of the skiff is Christo's custom printed Weequay Guard, also one of the favorite minifigs from my collection.
A special note to BrickArm's glaive and double-U clip, which resolved nicely the... arsenal of the skiff. The weapons are simple and in my opinion they are a perfect representation of the movie thing.

Yep, sometimes races get tough on Endor...
Just in case you're wondering, the whole scene is just one single shot done with plain Lego parts – I've just removed the rods, added the background and played some PS tricks.
Both minifigs were hurt several times in the making, as the whole scene crumbled about 15 times until I've got this.

This is obviously based on the Lego 7913 design, but it has a lot of different solutions – engines, stabilizers, repulsors and controls, all have been redesigned. It also has the pedals / landing gear in place, a better placement of the blaster canons and a much lower stance. The front section is slightly longer, I feel the proportions are better this way.
Thanks to the stabilizers solution, it can get in just about any color combination – I've actually designed 5 color versions of this speeder.
Here's the Kashyyyk one.
