Mike just loves the spartan, yet nifty dashboard of his Ford rat :)

Plenty of nice angles, so plenty of pictures in my photostream.

You can see some incredible shots of the real car following the link below. If I'm not mistaken, most of them are taken by Mike Burroughs himself: www.stanceworks.com/2013/05/mike-burroughs-ford-hot-rod-b...

The Gnarly BMW 2002 Rat Rod.

This one also gets subtly angled sides (doors) and although it doesn't look like, it does have clearance from the ground and it rolls smoothly. It also fits a driver in a fairly detailed interior - not that it was a purpose or something, but it's the first car I've built which sits lower than the minifig and yet still fits it.

I have absolutely no idea how the rear of the real car looks like, so I've just imagined how I would design it to match the overall style. The "standard" square tail lights were pretty boring and out of the scheme, so I went for something different.

On a different note, those old style windscreens are still surprising me. They are the exact same two pieces I've used on this one , and while there they barely kept connected to the car body, here they offer a surprisingly sturdy grip - you can actually lift the car by the rooftop and they don't give in.

I've got a whole bunch of pictures on this one - even if some seem to be similar, there was a little something I liked in each of these frames. And while I know that people would generally like to see descriptive images of the build, my favorites are still the "beauty shots" :)

Yello there!

It's been a while since my last upload and I can't seem to get in mood to shoot the rest of the Batman stuff. So here's something else to warm up.

Some details are stolen or inspired from some great builds by Misterzumbi (seat, engine block) and
Legohaulic (front wheels). Despite the steering solution - I don't know if it's been done before, I haven't seen it yet - the front wheels roll nice and smooth.

Intake piece and front wheels chromed by Auri the Skillful

There are a lot more shots on this in my photostream.
