In sixties color trim and period-correct stance.

Before you ask, the fog lights are not light-saber cuts, but fiber-optic tube. There's something very cool about this detail, alas I didn't manage to get it in the pictures. The tube goes through a hollow plate and rests against the white plate holding the front. The shiny white of the plate is "conducted" through the cable and it gives the impression of light being "on".

My most favorite detail of this thing is, by far, the double-hinged "lip" of the roof, which makes just enough "roundness" so that the juxtaposition of the two cabin surfaces doesn't feel too bland.

The oldest version of the grille but in terms of looks, still a favorite.

Not much to say about this, it's a re-work of something I've posted some years ago. At first I just wanted to see how a proper bumper would fit in, but then I ended up with a completely different rear/tail as well. I've built it shortly after the Crusher test shot, and then of course I had to modify again all versions to fit the new solutions and so I postponed the Crusher, the Heavy Chevy etc yet again. That being said, I'll never get back on this flat black one again, it's been a nightmare to photograph it.

Also, although I've uploaded variations of the car along the way, it's the first time I took some comprehensive shots that also feature Ben's clever bracket solution for the sides, which gave me just the right height of the doors and no gaps near the arches.
