The Mini is inspired by Paul Smith's design – I say "inspired" because at the time I've built it, I didn't exactly try to replicate the real thing. However in the meanwhile a couple of more orders arrived and I just might be able to attempt an even more accurate rendition of the car.

I always wanted to build the Mini from "The Bourne Identity" in this scale and now it's possible. I hope I can find a little time - and patience - to pull off the stairs scene as well.

Normally I can't stand using both rectangular and round elements to describe the same surface, but just this once, that face the car makes just had me at hello. And yes, I did that thing with the signal lights again, deal with it.

... I mean, literally. I want the armchair with a particular design and in a particular color but at least so far, the parts required seem to be a rather rare commodity and almost impossible to find in a single place. I'll obviously be back on this one.
