The NICTD track project is ongoing, but early this year I caught a daylight move of commuter cars being moved to Gary to be exchanged for cars needing moved to the shops at Michigan City.
This train departed Michigan City a couple hours earlier, and after a long slow trip to Ogden Dunes, it resumed track speed and is moving at 40mph as it approaches the west end of Wilson.

During my first few weeks at BHS, I was living out of hotels so I had time to spend trackside after leaving work at 3pm. One of the last nice fall days yielded a shot of IHB Job 115 at Ogden Dunes after leaving the port a bit earlier.

On my way to work one Sunday afternoon, I spied a westbound South Shore freight leaving Bailly. Having a few minutes to spare, I setup at the only between Bailly and Ogden Dunes and nabbed their pair of SD38-2s with a short mixed freight.
