Louisville, New Albany & Corydon Railroad RS36 #900 leads cars south from the NS interchange.
A short line in the truest sense (7.8 miles) it has always used ecclectic motive power ranging from 4-4-0's to GE 45-ton centercabs to Caterpillar re-powered GT S4's to a fleet of Alco RS's.
Operations were at one time twice daily (1950's) then once daily 5 days/week (1960's -2005). Currently, crews work 3 days/week.

Louisville, New Albany & Corydon railroad's Alco RS36 heads south with interchange from NS.
The railroad operates primarily using this RS36, but also stables an RS11 and a CS-9 (caterpillar re-powered ex-GT S4)
Chasing is easy, but short, given the railroad operates 7.8 miles of "mainline" with only the northernmost 5 in service, and approximately 2 miles of trackage in an industrial park serving 4 customers.
