My "chat" with the crew at Osgood was in regards to the trestle at Nebraska, IN. Upon learning there were guys from Wisconsin and Chicago chasing this move, the crew happily agreed to cross the treslte at walking speed.

The B&O St. Louis line across Indiana has been near death for a few years now. Fortunately, for both CSX operations and fans alike, it proves handy as a detour route for traffic from St. Louis to Louisville.

Watson Junction used to control the junction of the B&O Jeffersonville branch with the New Albany to North Vernon branch. Also tucked in behind the photographer was a Pennsylvania branch from Jeffersonville to the nearby Indiana Army Ammunition plant. WS tower closed in the early 80's.
