This fella was sat opposite where we were all sitting, down at the horse racing course opposite our flat: the Tokyo City Keiba. Good fun evening. It was free to go in on Monday but usually is only 100Yen anyway. Great light. Great faces. Not sure if these were winning faces... doesn't look like it :-)

Back in July we had the matsuri [festival] in the street out the back of our flat. I was just floating around casually taking pics as I had been shooting on a job all day and was really more interested in getting a few beers in me than anything else. This lady appeared, danced in one of the processions with the locals, then disappeared into the night. Very pretty. She spoke Japanese but she had a Eurasian look to her. Wow.
