The greatest Christmas gifts don't come wrapped under a tree. The sky was filled with color this Christmas morning at twilight just before sunrise as I was passing through Hedley. Texas isn't known for its landscapes, but it can sure serve up a sky. There wasn't too much interest to put in the frame off the main highway, but this group of wind break trees surrounding a ranch home sufficed. Hedley, Texas, USA, December 2014

Early Thanksgiving morning making my way to the lake shore to see if the view was interesting, a White Tail Doe with two Buck Fawns stopped on the trail to check me out. I didn't have my tripod set up, and had to crank the ISO up to 4000 just to get a workable shutter speed.
