Mish came to the cinema with me today on the sacred pilgrimage to see Indiana Jones.

Another visit to Alness Old Church, this place should be so spectacular but it's state of ruin is really quite tragic. At it's core is an old norse church from the medieval period that was built over/added to in 1672 when the majority of the T plan structure was erected. This, in itself, is of great interest so to see it roofless and crumbling is a real shame.

Inverness today. I love these buildings, they may be a modern block but they look like they belong, even with a slight hint of Dutch about them!

That said, they are amazingly difficult to photograph being 5+ floors high on a narrow street!
