The wampa was a peculiar beast. Sometimes they attacked anyone misfortunate enough to cross their path, sure, but by nature they did not see human(oid)s as food. The wampas were not the brightest of all creatures in the galaxy but under the right circumstances they were clever enough to not eat the hand that fed them. So, basically this meant that if you had a handful of treats, warm clothes and some patience you could have yourself a furry new friend in no time.

It’s just that identifying your pal from the other wampas was not that simple, they all looked exactly the same. This is where the saying ”first bite is the tell” is from.

In the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine TK-24/7 had found an unexpected friendship with the local band leader Figrin D'an and Wuher, the bartender.

By now you must know TK-24/7 wasn't just another stormtrooper. Underneath the armor he was this earnest and fun guy with vast knowledge on more things you could think of. Plus the ability to find laid back deployments he actually enjoyed. Wuher was grumpy, sure, but he'd read a million books and when not busy being annoyed by the customers in his cantina he was the most delightful and intelligent man to spend time with. Figrin D'an had toured years with his band The Modal Nodes and had seen a lot of strange things on his journeys around the galaxy. The experience of being on the road for so long had made him the most understanding, peaceful and patient person.

On rough days, such as this particular day, these three would make time to meet by the bar counter in Wuher's cantina (provided the other two were on the same planet). They'd have some blue milk and engage in long and wholesome conversations on whatever topic they had in mind.

Even after years of friendship they had never met outside the cantina.

The idea was to make a simple study of reflections. A custom gold plated Lego Classic Spaceman was perfect for it. Very shiny!

At some point the duck just decided to join the photoshoot.

Little-known fact: While on the very mellow assignments on Tatooine TK-24/7 had time for a hobby. He collected old vehicles.

The empire didn't pay that well, but over time TK-24/7 had managed to obtain a very special podracer and a speederbike to add to his collection. It was a small collection. He kept them in a small garage he was renting. Now he had his eyes on this busted 9000 Z001 landspeeder.

Running into one of these wasn't exactly a rare occasion. These landspeeders were notorious for their tendency to fall apart every now and then, usually in the middle of nowhere. This one seemed like an easy project and it was not that far from the garage.

This one is from a few weeks ago, forgot to upload here. So.

I suppose I forgot because this one was about testing some new camera gear I bought recently. Going back to this old concept and knowing its limits is very useful in learning what the new gear is capable of.
