I thought I was done sharing the best Christmas decorations from around Maynooth, and then I popped in to Carton House Hotel and was met by this masterpieces roughly shaped liked the main house itself!

Another shot of Mars, Jupiter, Orion & Taurus dominating the eastern sky over Maynooth. Mars is in the lower-left, and Jupiter in the upper-right next to the Hayades & Pleiades clusters in Taurus. Orion is over the apartments. The left foreground is fishing ponds reflecting the sky and the buildings are the new Linden Demesne apartments.

Rising just over the trees in the lower left is Mars, and shining bright in Taurus in the top-right is Jupiter close to the Hyades & Pleiades clusters. To Jupiter’s 3-o’clock is the star Antares, or ‘Mars Rival’ for it’s brightness and red colour!
