This is the first of what will be quite a few shots from Allison & Steve Sheridan's visit. On our first day we took a tour around Wicklow, and our first stop was Blessington lake. We had mostly good weather for the day, but while we were here things got a bit dramatic for a while cloud-wise.
This shot was generated by tonemappign a single RAW image in Photomatix Pro and then tweaking the resulting image using the Topaz Adjust 4 plugin in PSE8.

The second stop on myself, Allison & Steve's tour of Wicklow was the top of the Wicklow gap. I found it hard to capture the beauty of the place on film, but I think this begins to show it. The scale of the place made me want a wider angle lens than my wide angle lens!
