These are the same two Juncos as I posted yesterday but this was as they had risen up higher and the background here is the roof of my parrot's outdoor aviary

it begins at the feeder and then escalates from there. They go at each other at the feeder, then rise up higher and higher until they exit from my camera's view finder.

I was a really excited to get his shot because most of the time, these guys don't approach the feeders like this.
They are most often on the ground and they jump up to the feeder and then when they leave, it's usually a straight down dive back to the ground.
So catching one with feathers fully displayed like this while approaching the feeder made me happy :-)

Life is hard enough for our wild animals with progressing encroachment into their habitats and so many other obstacles that challenge their daily survival.
Like this beautiful grizzly sow and her 3 littles, a day to day struggle to raise them and teach them all they need to know to survive on their own.
Odds are against them all surviving into adulthood, so as humans, we need to do what we can to raise awareness and foster appreciation for their importance and contributions to our world and environments.
Love the wilds. Respect the wilds and help ensure that generations to come will have the privilege of doing the same.
