Looking East from Spur Point, Guernsey. The black and white markings of Vivian beacon in the foreground. Brehon Tower sits in the mid point of the Little Russel about one and a half miles off shore. The south west coast of Herm is beyond the tower. The north west coast of Sark can be seen between Herm and Jethou in the distance, about 9 miles off Guernsey. Crevichon rock with the white marker stone on top just to the north of Jethou. The white house on Jethou can be seen sitting on the north west corner. First calm day since Storm Ciaran. High pressure and good visibility. Low tide.

Safe anchorage between Bordeaux Harbour and Beaucette Marina on the north east coast of Guernsey. It's possible to see all of the other Channel Islands from this position and the Cherbourg peninsula of France.
