I was on my way to another location to capture the sunset and I passed thorugh this local woodland. The late sun was streaming through and the colours were so vibrant I had to stop.

I had nearly given up hope for a beautiful sky the other evening at Milarrochy Bay, but for a few brief minutes, the sky erupted with stunning red rays from the setting sun.

Loch Rusky, still and mine to keep,
Wrapped in fog, in morning's sleep.
Autumn leaves in golden sway,
Lilies bright as night gave way.

The sun broke through with gentle light,
Kissed the mist, turned dark to bright.
In quiet calm, the world stood still,
A moment's peace, a morning's thrill.
