Came across a family of Finches working in a newly sprouted bean patch.
Then I realised they were helping themselves to the fresh bean shoots.

Don Knight had commented on one photo of this bird I put the other day "it was Stoic."
I like that.
Went to visit again this morning, half expecting to see see it gone.
But No.
They heve survived several days of near 40c temp, one day of 25mm of rain, and another day of high winds.
They deserve to be successful.
