While Maddie waited for breakfast to arrive, a pair of friendly Magpie-larks came in to serande her.
Aren't birds kind :-)

If they are setting up home, it seems each is happy to do its own food foraging.

Found these birds on an open paddock.
Not sure what was at stake, but the chasing bird was not going to allow anyone on its territory.
The action quickly escalated beyond name calling.
