Black-shouldered Kite, Elanus axillaris, Magpie-lark, Grallina cyanoleuca
+===============+
While Maddie waited for breakfast to arrive, a pair of friendly Magpie-larks came in to serande her.
Aren't birds kind :-)

From her look I think a title of "I've heard it all before", or perhaps "Do you know any songs with Goodbye in them?" Would also suit.

Black-shouldered Kite, Elanus axillaris, Nankeen Kestrel, Falco cenchroides
≠================≠
Hard not to feel the stress of territory ownership when you have young to feed.
The Kestrel is really only on an opportunistic hunt as they won't breed for a few more months.

Close to where the Hobby had been hunting Madeline and Mike have a new clutch on the go.
Because of the presence of the Hobby, the food exchange is quickly made on a branch quite near the nest. Mike does all the prep work and then Maddie flys out, picks the food up and turns back to the nest.
