Hungarian registered Taurus' are classified as Class 470 and a good number of them carry special promotional or celebration liveries.

Applied in 2011, 470 010 is the oldest and is commemorating the "Golden Team" which refers to the Hungarian national football team between 1950 and 1956. Notable highlights include winning gold at the Helsinki 1952 Olympics and being the first team from Europe to beat the England football team at Wembley.

Seen passing Szár with IC986 'KÉKFRANKOS' from Budapest-Kelenföld to Sopron.

“Original Taurus” 1016 046 paired with 1116 146 approaching St Jodok am Brenner with an Italy bound working formed of 4 wheel cargowaggons.

Being part of the first batch of Taurus ordered by ÖBB, they are restricted to countries which have a 15kV power supply. Only a relatively small number exist in the ÖBB fleet with just 50 locos produced before the design was altered to feature 25kV operation.
