This is the third and final piece of my Amsterdam triptych I made two weeks ago. This final shot is a redo of an earlier image I took on het Damrak.. This time I used the boats as leading lines.

This lovely spot is situated near the Amsterdam red light district. By exposing for the highlights, I was able to preserve the sense of intimacy.

This composition has been on my radar for quite some time. I love this kind of modern architecture. (Take a peek at my architecture-album to see some other crazy great examples).

For me this is the most interesting angle from this interesting building. Although there are lots of variations to choose from.

Located at the back of Amsterdam central station it can't be missed. But it took me several years before finally get there last weekend and make this image.

Last summer we visited the royal palace in Madrid. On of the highlights of that visit was this beautiful decorated dining-room. Since you weren't allowed to get actually inside the room, none of the many visitors were in the shot.
