How does a bucketlist get it's content? In my case I watched an episode of "Photographing the World" by Elia Locardi around 7 years ago. This landscape and cityscape tutorial was recorded all over the world. Elia's shots from Singapore really encouraged me to visit this place. One of his locations was this spot near the bay. So when I had the chance to visit Singapore this year I knew that I wanted to make this image. I was lucky with the circumstances: no rain, nice sky and no other photographers that wanted my spot 😉. I am satisfied with the result and ticked one item of my list.

Enjoy!

For a very long time I wanted to visit Singapore. One of the reasons was the blue hour view of the city-front at the marina bay. There are the iconic buildings and structures like the Marina bay Sands, the ArtScience Museum and the Helix bridge. That's what I wanted.... Well here you are!

Enjoy!

Preparing our visit to Singapore, I stumbled upon the amazing view inside the Pan Pacific hotel. And although we weren't guests in the hotel a hotel-guard was kind enough to show me around the building. He even took me up the elevator zo I was able to shoot this stunning vertigo-image of the 38th floor.

Enjoy!

After an interesting trip to South East Asia, I'm back in Holland. Seen beautiful things and collected some great memories. Upcoming weeks I'll share some of the most precious images I made during our stay in Singapore and the Philippines.
To kick of I present world's highest (40 m) indoor waterfall: the Vortex at Changi Airport - Singapore. Right after we landed at Singapore airport we visited this place. Unfortunately we had to wait a couple of hours before the waterfall started. It was worth it. A good start for what was coming!

Enjoy!

A display of a small statue of Bodhisattva Manjusri surrounded by a other Buddhist figures.
I was attracted by the colour, the light and the repetition. Although I am not a religious person, I felt something just by being there.

Enjoy!
