Pride kicked off with the Modern Military Association of America National Gala! I was thrilled to nominate Dr Josh Smalley and the Transgender Health Medical Evaluation Unit for the Rainbow Shield Award, which recognizes a program, network or initiative designed to advance LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace. Better yet, they won!

It was an honor to present the award to Josh, who is a shining example of allyship within the LGBTQ+ community and a wonderful human. Josh and his team have supported trans health care in the Department of the Air Force for 8 years and gone above and beyond to take care of people.
