My first night out in the DC area as a resident. I met up with Cindy, Kim and Tracy for some shopping, photos, and dinner at the Blue Iguana. The company was wonderful and my shrimp etouffee over fried catfish was amazing. I sure hope to do it again soon.

The blond wig makes it's debut appearance in the real world. Did it work? I sure think so!

Cindy brought a bunch of caps for us to wear and become the welcoming committee for this TransAir sponsored party. It was another wonderful night. Not quite the turnout that the last event at this location had, but about 35 girls is nothing to sneeze at!

This tip of my cap goes to my kids' babysitter for the evening and Marianne. My wife was out of town, but I still managed to get away for a wonderful evening. Marianne was a huge help in offering her place to change. It was a speed record by a wide margin for me getting ready. I showed up shaved, makeup took no more than 20 minutes and I was ready to go in under half an hour! I expected to meet all the girls late for dinner, but they hadn't even ordered by the time I showed up. :)

The night ended too soon since I did have to head home and relieve the sitter. I wiped my face off in the hotel bathroom and changed in my car. Not the most pleasant thing to do but it was worth it.

I'm not sure, but this could be the last time this wig makes an appearance. It seems to be getting really ratty and thin and has already been reconditioned once. It's sad since my wife got me this one as an anniversary present and it was expensive!
