this was shot from the front yard of the house i grew up in, with the old cast iron bridge (now at sand island) in the foreground. WPAL-12 was the daily local that went past my house, on the former L&NE cement secondary.

late 1991, a westbound D&H train heads towards the lehigh. this spot is now all sorts of overgrown and off limits, but at the time, was THE place to be. notice the natural gas tank is still up at the time of this picture.
