BNSF 8523 is on the first half of the s-curve just south of Monument, CO with a southbound coal train.

I'm a pretty big fan of in-your-fACe and telemash shots, and the Canon PowerShot SX740 HS with its 40x optical zoom really lets you get in there and get close if you want.(and heat distortion allows). If you multiply the EXIF focal length by ~5.58, you'll get the 35mm-equivalent.

BNSF 9062 is on the rear of a southbound coal train as it descends down the Palmer Divide and out of Palmer Lake, CO.

The metal cages above the ACe are new to me. They look like some sort of dog kennel, but I'm guessing they are pickleball courts...
