I took this photo back around 1985 while visiting the Albright-Knox Gallery of Art in Buffalo, New York. This is the Mirror Room by Lucas Samaras. I took the photo with my old Nikon FM using slide film. It is one of approximately 1,000 old slides that I have scanned to digital over the past few months. In those days, you had to know how to compose, focus and expose you images. Every photo cost money to make and you couldn't "chimp" by looking at an instant replay. You took your picture, and a few weeks later, you saw the result. I miss that thoughtful and slow and magical process. This year, I have largely gone back to shooting film, and I’m loving it!

I seem to recall this as being a sculpture outside Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. I took the photo sometime around 1985 with my Nikon FM on slide film. I scanned it to digital in 2018 with an Epson V850 Pro.

On one of my cross Canada road trips, this scene greeted me one morning. I believe it was east of Grand Centre Alberta, as I was heading into Saskatchewan - the Meadow Lakes area.
